The University of Cambridge has announced that an advisory group appointed by the Vice-Chancellor is overseeing a two-year archival inquiry into the ways in which the university has benefited from the Atlantic slave trade and other coerced labour, as well as reinforced or validated racial thinking through academic scholarship, during the imperial age from the 18th to the 20th centuries.
